:mad:Im sick of these stikes, nurses have gotten less than the 2.5 % offered to council workers and governement workers: and so have the police. Check out whats happening in the news and get in the real world - were all in the same situation, some worse. and guess what? its not going to get better quick!

Apprantly Unison only sent out ballot papers to half of workers!

Anyway at least with the workshysters out gateshead council might work better and not lose application forms ect ect ect ect ect;)

Ive not had a pay increase for 4 years! Id love a 2.45 % increase. Trade Unions messed up in the 80's please lets not see a repeat. WIth inflation as it is though if we all started giving out pay increases then this would not curb inflation, only push it up further. I earn £5.90 an hour and i manage. But the council workers always feel hard done by, imagine if the police went on strike.

I cant belive some of these posts, the gvt think that 2.45% is fine well I thnk its a pittence especially with the cost of living going up eg petrol food bills . The best part was the rise i got last year was wiped off in a instant by our incompetent gvt in the 10% tax messup .the fat cats get higher wages leaving the real workers nothing . What if u told the MP's were getting a 2.45% rise they would they like it:mad:?
