As this no longer a northeast company i will never buy Barretts If the chief executive of a company can sit and tyneside -tyneside -tyneside -tyneside -yze a business and say you know what i don't think the people we have around us who built up the country's biigest company in our field are good enough for the job then i'm sorry but your 4 king houses are not good enough for my northern cash you multiple expletive.

GET OFF the bus
Also in the last year the boss of GO ahead ha done the same thing having built up the business from small routes (pun intended) Mike Dorrington was proud that GO Ahead was a northeast company done good but within months of his passing away the newly installed boss thought right Stuff this northeast lark were all upping sticks to London.

I can see your point but doesn't it work both ways about this stuff, i'm sure people in york still buy rolos even though Nestle moved production from There to KENTON.

Sometimes I feel that these companies are moved for the benefit of the chief execs and not for the good of the business, figures shifted around and interpreted so it makes sense to move the business....
But thats always been the case.

Me and my partner (business partner) moved our business to the northeast 3 years ago, he's a cokney and one day asked me if i would ever be truly happy if i never moved back up here i think he had got sick of me.
so suggested we moved the business his family our staff and their families up here so all told 47 people came 3 families have gone home but all the rest haave stayed so it cuts both ways.

Thankfully it seems the current board who have been around along time are commited to our region, great news and proof in the pudding that we in the northeast can provide some of the best staff around in the HI-TECH industries.
