Whats peoples thoughts on these new flat pack houses opposite Gateshead Stadium. They're starting off at £100k for a one bedroom flat. Who thinks that this is worth it? And how does this compare against a 2 bed big flat in gateshead or something. Me personally, think that an old fashioned tyneside flat would be better as youve no hefty service charges for ground maintenance or anything. Do these boklok homes have service charges?

Havent the subbies walked off site here for some reason and delayed completion? How many of these homes have actually been sold?

Reason behind Bokloks delay is because Avebury International has had problems on the contracting side. Local boys Cameron Builders have stepped in to do the job, soI think there should only be 3 weeks delay ish.:)

Haha Cheezer, it;s great inst it.? the new fold!
I tell u...when it was the Old Fold, half the people living now would day walk through the place as the street lights come on. I remember a big sign being there at the entrance to the old fold opposit gateshead stadium saying "Enter at own risk" in big silver painted letters. And I'm not joking, at the time had to be one of the roughest places in the North East.

How does it work? I imagine its like buying a piece of land and putting a portacabin on it, what about building regs are there any, suppose they must be for the drainage ect.
