The gf's left the "romantic birthday meal" up2 me this year, but im clueless! We usually go to indians or typical pub grub places. I thought a theme maybe Spanish would suprise her abit, but not sure where 2 go?? Any nice ones on Dean St, as im close too there? If not, any opinions welcome.

Thanks

Tom

Tommy lad, it sounds like you are clueless. There's loads of places in town and if you live near Dean St (probably in one of the poncy city flats) then yu should kna. Im not gonna tell you where you should go - your gf deserves better. SO why not give her my details and she can contact me hehe :)

Tommy, If I were you I'd take her to jesmond Dene for a meal or something like that, something a bit different.

My boyfriend took me to an italians for a meal on Dean Street ( I'd only bl*ody been there the week before for a works do). for my b'day. It's somewhere id go just for an afternoon snack or drubken meal. Not somewhere for a romantic dinner. Treat your girlfriend to somewhere posh and nice where she can get really dressed up and give her a really nice night. Not just a typical friday night job.
