Metroland Closure...

Cant understand why the metroland could b closing........what a shame!!!..........i love goin wi the family. Does anyone else think we should fight to keep the metroland open FOREVER.......it brings loadsa visitors to the city and its wicked fun for the kiddies and us adults......KEEP IT OPEN, US GEORDIES NEED SUM FUN ONCE IN A WHILE!

Ive gotta agree. I used to go there all the time as its not too far from me home in Blaydon. As a kid we could go there and chat girls ;) and have a laugh on the rides - great fun. Mind you I'm not too sure Id want my kids going there knowing the mischief we got up to. Fun times. I dont think its the same now though as it was then. Is it because im getting older - probably! It does seem a bit dated now though.
