Does anyone else think that more and more shops are becoming vacant at the metro centre, or is it just me noticing more? There still seems to be a lot of people there but more empty shops.

Ever since my 6 year old said that we should go to newcastle to shop as the greedy bosses closed metroland to get more shops in we have been doing our best to stay away. It's not fun any more he said how chuffed was i.

Pretty astute kid, but also preceptive about what life should be.:(

Well I have been to the Metro Centre and seen no difference! Yes some shops are closing but there are new shops coming in. You lot have been watching the news too much.

What evidence do you have to prove the shops are getting less and less?

I know that shops are becoming vacant, but other vacant shops not necessarily the ones that have just becoming vacant have been filled.

You probably havent noticed empty shops in the past as much but now on the tv it's doom and gloom so you notice more.

And no need to exclamation me mate! Only making conversation.
