Jet Skis on the River Tyne

Is there a speed limit on the Tyne (I thought there was in between the bridges).

A friend come up from Leeds a few months ago and was laughing his hid off when he saw these young lads bombing along the tyne on jet skis. He always tells his mates "In leeds we have youths bombing through parks on bikes" In newcastle they go around on jet skis.

Tourags should be speeding though, the noise cant be pleasant for thos on the south bank or apartments on the tyne. Maybe there should be some camera to catch the rogues.

Man what is this the river Police they are only having a bit of fun it's not as though this will keep folks awake at night and of course its not in a park so the kids won't get injured will they

Well, if they had of keot the river police at the end of the swing bridge instead of selling and turning it into a restaurant then maybe they wouldnt be there.

Ok...so if they are bombing up and down your road on a sundays afternoon would that noise not annoy you?

It can be dangerous to themselves.

There are seals in the tyne and fish--can this not pollute it?

Speed limits are in place for a limit, and Ive just checked it's actually 6 knots between all the bridges.

Ok so there just javing fun, where should the limit be then 150mph? is that ok if they are just having fun on the tyne?
