Does anyone know a good honest plumber? I only need kitchen taps replacing but need some help finding someone - don't want to pay a fortune (my taps were only £49.99) im half expecting a plumber to charge a small fortune. Can anyone help a single parent with a reasonably priced plumber in the Heaton Area.
thanks
Ju

Well dont use the one I did - I'm not gonna name him. And when you get him/her to do it tie him down to strong timescale (obviously it can be a day or 2 out) but mine was 8 days out. He kept going off to other jobs leaving me without a shower! Make sure you get a good quote. Oh and get at least 2 references. Most good plumbers have them and most good plumbers are booked up for at least a month. If they can do the job straight away alarm bells should ring!

Thanks for the advice Milly. I got a plumber a couple of weeks ago who started last thursday. He said he will be finishing the bathroom on wednesday. I will have to see how it turns out like (fingers crossed). If he is any good I will give him a plug on here. He's a local heaton lad as well which is good as i know where to find him lol
