My Dad told me he was born in Newcastle moved to America when he was 4? Is this tru and he also told me his first gig he ever played was in the Dog and Partridge in Newcastle-----surely not?

Jimi was born in USA but a geordie in the name of Chas Chandler (of the Animals) was his manager and did bring him to Newcastle to do a gig--dont know which pub tho.
