Looking to Join a golf club but am stuck between the Northumberland Golf Club and the Wallsend Golf Club, Ive had a few lessons on holiday in portugal lat summer now i want to get stuck in, advice anyone who knows of the two golf clubs?

Is my favourite course on Tyneside though slaly takes some beating for the whole of the northeast.

I always say that a golf course spoils it for setting up a good five a side pitch! Can anyone explain why golf is good to play :confused:

Good Golf club and the snob value is very low, played here a couple of times with guys from work.

But.....why isn't this thread in the sports section?

Dead easy to get to from all over tyneside not to challenging a course but a good crack. OH and nobody looking down their nose at you

Not easy to get a membership as some people have suggested but you can get a game as a non member. Good course and easy to get to
