Whats up with dog owners in Godforth letting their dogs do their business on the highstreet? At about 7am this morning I was jogging along Gosforth High Street, bearing in mind it's not that bright at that time, and there was canine muck all over the place. Why don't the owners have plastic bags to pick up their pets droppings?

In my eyes they are absolutely scrubbers and they shouldn't be allowed pets. Or they should they be named and shamed if coaught on camera?

To me they are arragant, selfish pet owners, and I've now thrown that pay of trainers out. Does anyone out there let their dogs do this?

Could not believe my eyes!!!! As a responsible dog owner living in the area and just returning back from the High Street I must say I find your comments incredibly cutting.

The High Street is very clean in comparison to many others in the City which will remain unnamed. Its the people not the dogs fault. Many off them find it hard enough to look after their own kids without having the responsibility of a dog. Not something that I would associate the High Street or the surrounding area with at all.
