Hiya, After 6 months of trying to motivate myself into shape i give up...are there any personal trainers out there to give me a personal workout and some xtra motivation?

I'd prefer a female trainer, no offence guys.

This lady sue clark based in Jesmond does it and she also does home visits. A friend of mine said she was good. I've not personally tried her though.

Just saw your comments about personal training. When I lived overseas I had a personal trainer and I must says they really do work you hard. Since coming home I have not had the time to look anyone up or neither do I know anyone who has used one and reaped the benefits, let me know how you get along and who you use. Would be really interested to know if they are any good :)

I had a personal trainer here lat year but whilst she was fab i just couldn't justify the cost as because of the crunchy credit i couldn't get any bonus from work.

Her name's Charmaine ask for her it's also a good gym and very popular, first PT session is free normally costs 20 but if your not edging toward serious save your money they will as other posters say work you. Its the only way you know

Not wanting to sound the neanderthal but is this the tyneside or Kensington forum, gees no wonder SJP is so quiet these days we're all waitning for the pouncy opera singer to come out be fore we show some passion or emotion.

Back to subject Lisa come down the Tudor Rose on friday ask for dave we'll have a laugh a very good drink then have a real good work (kidding):p:p:p:p:

It works i use one that comes round to my house 2 times a week and brings all his own equipment two i do about 1200 calories of in an hour £32 a session but thats less than having one in a gym and and paying membership, also there's not bunch of pruners looking at you or themselves.

Well I love Kensington!

Of course it's not as good as Tyneside, maybe Jesmond aspires to be Kensington, although it'll never be as posh as Cadogan Square!!!!

Lady Isabella Hervey is actually a personal trainer in kensington and charges £120 an hour, so one in Newcastle for £30 seems a snip. Personal Trainors though on average are charging £50 in London, but they are 2 years ahead of Newcastle? Londoners stopped wearing UGG boots 18 month ago lol.

I hot stepped it down to London and found that they were selling 2011 calenders and low and behold they had a rerun of the Eastenders christmas special 2010.

I was just about to step on the train to come home when i thought OHH and rushed back to stations Whsmith to get an evening standard and yep there they were lotto results for wednesday 9th of feb 2011. Thanks for the heads up that they are so far ahead of us having said that i just hope you don't tell anyone else in the next two years i'd hate to share the jackety pot wuith anyone else.

I've now been going to the gym for 6 months and the difference is massive. Lost 18 pounds and feel great. My friend has been seeing a personal trainer for ages but i really dont think its worth it. Her diet is rubbish - shouldnt the personal trainer help with this also? I would have thought so for £25 an hour!!
