Violence at the derby

I have seen loads of coverage talking about mindles thugs causing disturbances at the match and station yesterday but was there any actual fighting.

I was actually near Stowell Street on Sunday and saw a large police presence and lots of shouting from both sets of fans. It got a bit hairy but I never actually saw any fighting. Being a boro fan living in Newcastle though I didnt care for either set of fans.
