That is cheap like! Is the heating system knackered or something coz there are others for sale at about £115-£120k. Mind you they might be worth even less in 6 months.

Well, not so long back, a flat in the grainger, staithes, was sold for 86 grand at auction. Now thats nearly half price compared to 2 years ago. Would you believe some people still actually have them up for sale on rightmove for £150k.. Do they really think they can sell at that price??????
Well, they obviously do ???

I used to have a house down here and it is a great place to live the houses are fab and it really works in getting to know people. However the managment cvompany are just a rip off they do nothing yet charge up to 1000 peryear for the privelge of doing diddly squat, also the parking is a 4 king nightmare not that you can't get parked or that there isn't enough spaces but people are so precious about there own space i mean come on get a grip

I have to admit I've a friend that lives at the grainger, north west side and she was moaning a bit ago about people parking in her spot. Youre right, she says that there are generally plenty of car parking spaces but for some reason ignorant people seem to be parking in spaces which they know are owned by someone else. I personally wouldnt park in other peoples allocated spaces as there are plenty of visitor parking, there must be some pretty ignorant or plain stupid people living in the grainger.
She said the service charges are about £900 a year there, I dont exactly know what the money is for but if it's for cleaning she told me that there was some rubbish at the bottom of her staircase there for 3 weeks!!!
Overall though the views were great, close to town, pretty much quiet, and some nice people around. The Staithes would be somewhere I could live quiet easily if they got rid of the ignoramaces mentioned above!

i don't Blame the Fat two Jags guy, the problem stems from his time as deputy prime minister. In fact most of the problems stem with him, he introduced guidelines which mean councils have to insist on more houses per sq foot of development so less gardens, less parking and less space = more neighbourly confrontation. Sorry but BLAME LABOUR

not the point, plenty of parking!
Ignorant or stupid idiots parking in places which belong to other residents and they know it!
Owners of the spaces should be able to clamp the f*****s
