Hey, Why not try Gateshead Leisure centre, it#s only a couple of quid a time if you are a gateshead resident activ8 cardholder ---- great if your not a dedicated gym goer and generally waste your monthly fee by only going a few times in a month. Lots of other stuff do do as well there.;)

Just going out for a run.....
Doing a few sit ups and pressups in the house
A few tricep dips and some squats
Guess What?
Its free and you may get some fresh air!:D

I get all this spit and saw dust stuff but a bit of comfort when training makes me feel comfortable so i plump for Springs (also more girls in it to keep you motivated).

Well if you are not looking for spit and sawdust you could try FX Leisure on the team valley. The girls are as hot (if not hotter) than the girls in Springs Health Club.:)

I know that a lot of cities have really cheap no frill gyms in town...something like fitness first or gateshead leisure centre, but are there any places like this who don't have staff which will keep the cost down. In Manchester and Sheffield they have 24 hour gym.s for £16 a month. You just swipe yourself in. They are as good as FX gym on the valley except no pools. I just don't wanna pay more than £25 a month for something ill use twice a week max.

Whats that gym like on Gateshead High Street? The ladies one? It looks a bit basic but its handy if your from that side of the water - i go to one in town but if the classes are ok would consider it for a weekend

You might be right like - if its anything like the rest of gateshead high street you need air max and a fag hanging out of your mouth just to fit in! Might give that one a miss actually....!
